The Izzun Books Megilat Estér is a celebration of the incredible story of Estér. With a translation by Rabbi Adam Zagoria-Moffet and commentary by Rabbi Jeremy Gordon, this paperback A5 volume includes the entirety of Estér's story in a new, beautiful, four-column layout, in full colour throughout and featuring cover art by Sarah Lightman.

Orders of 20 copies or more will automatically be discounted to a price of £6/book. For orders of larger than 50 copies, please get in touch with us (izzunbooks@gmail.com) for even better pricing.

In both the original Hebrew and new translation, the unmentionable’s name is printed in red – all the better to be booed. Verses to be chanted first by the congregation are in gold and verses chanted with the cantillation used for reading the Book of Lamentations are in light blue. All the liturgical extras needed for a Megillah reading are included as are not one, but two new commentaries – on the one margin and on the other margin.

We hope this presentation of the Megilah will inspire us to face chaos with exactly the right levels of panache, steely determination and faith demonstrated by the heroes of this tale. And boo to all enemies.

We print and ship internationally. Shipping prices will vary and are set by our printers. Because each order is printed by a printer close to you, we aim to keep shipping costs as affordable as possible.

Update: November 23. Due to the ongoing war in Gaza, many shipping options to Israel have been restricted. For the time being we've had to remove Israel as a shipping destination to save you, our valued customers, and ourselves, unnecessary costs.
